We are the WildRock Oyster Bar – a team of experienced, well travelled and friendly professionals with over 10 years catering experience combined. We’ve searched far and wide to find the finest oysters and champers in the land – plus, we set up a mean Bloody Mary bar too. What’s not to like?
We offer two bespoke bars – The WildRock Oyster Bar and Bloody Mary Bar – and adapt our range of services to cater for each event individually. We create a unique atmosphere for any special occasion and provide energetic, professional service. From weddings to corporate or food fayres to festivals – if you’re looking to add a little je ne sais quoi to your event, we are your team.
Our relationship with our customers is everything. We love what we do, and working closely together with our clients is what gives us an edge. Seeing customers smiling, getting to know them and having a laugh together is what we thrive on.
A little bit about us…
Natalie, the owner, has achieved a lot in her 26 years. In the past five years alone, she has run a vintage tearoom in Haslemere and a travelling festival coffee van.
In 2017, she sold her coffee business travelled up the East Coast of Australia with her three year old son Noah. Needless to say, it was pretty damn fab – but she missed the festival circuit and catering side of things.The only cure was another new venture…enter the WildRock Oyster Bar!

I wanted to start another venture that had a niche and was more specific to catering high end weddings and events. Originally, we were looking to start a mussel bar (we still might!!) but the idea morphed over time. My partner Dominic is studying to become a Sommelier and one evening we had to try a variety of champagnes (it was such a hardship…). We paired them with oysters just for fun – and, of course, a part of the learning process – …and after a bottle… or two … like all good ideas… this is where the WildRock Oyster bar was born!
The Bloody Mary bar came alongside shortly afterwards, mainly to set up and serve at festivals. We all know a Bloody Mary is perfect for the morning after! And it’s delicious as an alternative accompaniment to the oysters at events (plus it’s our favourite drink EVER).
I missed the buzz and excitement of a 30 deep queue of happy customers waiting to be served. I have made so many great connections and friendships doing this for a living.
Once you’re in this business, you really can’t escape – and I’m not complaining! I get to work with my best friend along the way… As cliché as it sounds, you have to follow your dreams, and the crazier the dream the better! We hope you enjoy following our journey!”
